5X5 DOME

 The Dome is a modular arch tensile structure with a square foot-print, that can be widely used for temporary or permanent exhibitions, events,schools, hotels and restaurant gardens, commercial building entrance canopies and any urban furnishing application.  


CONSTRUCTION
There are five main elements: the steel plate, the column (leg), the capital, the arch and the canopy.

The capital is the fulcrum of the system: it can be lifted vertically along the column and can be positioned at different heights. In multiple connected units, the capital can reach up to four arches, avoiding the use of approached elements.

• The membrane is made of heavy-duty polyester, coated on both sides with PVC and treated with special additives making it fireproof and weatherproof. The membrane has a high performance surface coating made from a polymer of PVDF family, which is an impressive antigenic screen, resistant to atmospheric pollution.

• The metal framework is in AISI 304 stainless steel.

• The arches are in anodized extruded aluminium, 6060T6 type.

• Galvanized steel cables and stainless steel coupling and tensioning devices.

• A vertually maintenance free structure.
